Japanese Prime Say Thank You

TOKYO - Prime Minister (PM) of Japan Naoto Kan expressed his gratitude through advertisements in various leading newspapers of the world. Words were addressed to the elements in the world for the support that has been given since the tsunami swept Japan.

Three-quarter-page ad, titled Thank You for Kizuna (bonds of friendship) is installed in the pages of international newspapers such as the Financial Times, Wall Street Journal and International Herald Tribune.

"One month has passed since the earthquake with the strength that never happened before. The earthquake has also claimed thousands of lives. In the tsunami-swept region there is no food, water, and electricity and the survivors do not have a channel of communication.
