Microsoft Bing Rule 30 Percent Search Market

CALIFORNIA - Data from Experian Hitwise said that Microsoft through Bing success now control 30 percent of the Internet search market.

This new data claiming that Microsoft had reached 30.01 percent market share in Internet search in the United States (U.S.); 14.32 and 15.69 percent of Bing.com from Yahoo Search. Growth rate is quite good, considering that since February Bing search market share grew 6 percent, while 5 percent of Yahoo search. Similarly, as quoted by Mashable, Tuesday (04/12/2011).

Meanwhile, Google now controls 64.4 percent in the U.S. search market, down 3 percent from the 66.69 market share in February. In August last year, Google's market share fell by 10 percent. August 2010 is the first month Yahoo Search strengthened by Bing. Bing himself in August 2010 has a market share of 9.87 percent.

One of the reasons why Yahoo and Bing able to increase its market acquisition is more successful because users do a search on both sites. Yahoo Search users get the search success rate of 81.14 percent, while the user Bing got 80.32 percent. While users of Google only got 65.91 percent of the success of Internet search.

But today Google is still holding two-thirds of the Internet market. The giant Internet search company now is developing many new features, including social search +1, Google's instant, and others.
