President of South Africa: Gaddafi Accept Peace

Tripoli - Libyan President Moammar Gaddafi reportedly receive Road Map peace proposal to end the civil war that occurred in his country. Map these peace negotiations including a cease-fire.

South African President Jacob Zuma led a delegation of African leaders in Tripoli, previously asked the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) to halt air attacks are launched into Libyan territory.

The opposition insisted that Libya would accept peace only when Gaddafi to end his regime that has lasted for 40 years. Meanwhile, Gaddafi declared Libya's government will not step down from office.

"Delegates (Gaddafi) had received Peace Road Map which we have proposed. Each party shall provide the opportunity for a ceasefire process," said South African President Jacobn Zuma told Reuters on Monday (4/11/2011).

Previously, African Union Commissioner for Peace and Security Ramtane Lamamra hinted that Gaddafi was willing to step down from his post.
However Lamara ensure Gaddafi talks about the decline was still confidential.

In the midst of negotiations that diprakarasai efforts the African Union, NATO launched an air strike that targeted the army in Misrata Gaddafi on Sunday, April 10. These attacks are intended to weaken the power forces in the western region Gaddafi of Libya.

NATO-led coalition forces said the air strike also managed to destroy 14 tanks in Ajdabiyah. Also in Misrata attack is said to have caused the destruction of 11 tanks Gaddafi's troops.

Although efforts are still ongoing peace talks, is still fighting is still ongoing. A spokesman for the opposition rejected this and insisted the peace talks choose war to resolve conflicts in Libya.
