Free crew, Somalia Coordination with Foreign Ministry

JAKARTA - Entering the 28th day of the Holy Light Ship Men still held hostage by Somali pirates ship. Through the Somali Ambassador in Jakarta, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia reportedly continue to coordinate.

"They (the crew) were taken hostage in March 16, the 17th of her we immediately have a meeting with the foreign ministry," said the Somali ambassador to Indonesia Mohammud alow Borow in Jakarta, Wednesday (04/13/2011).

"The day after we've discussed this with the Director of the African Foreign Ministry, to discuss the best ways to free the crew,"the Ambassador said Borow.

In addition to the foreign ministry, the Embassy of Somalia also has been coordinating with the Indonesian embassy in Nairobi, Kenya. This cooperation is conducted to anticipate the release of 20 crew who were detained by Somali pirates.

"What prompted Indonesia on liberation (ABK), through the diplomatic channel, we continue to try to help. The foreign ministry is hard to solve this problem through diplomacy," said Ambassador Borow.
