Khadafi envoy to Greece Discuss Termination of War

Libyan government sent a special envoy to Greece, to discuss the cessation of war. There are currently no signs of battle will be reduced to the present.

Libya's Deputy Foreign Minister Abdelati Obeidi flew to Athens with a personal message from Moammar Khadafi to the Prime Minister of Greece George Papandreou. The message stated Libya wanted to end the fighting.

"It seems that those in power in Libya working to find solutions," said Greek Foreign Minister Dimitris Droutsas told Reuters on Monday (04/04/2011).

But there is no indication that the Government of Libya to stop the fighting. It can be seen in the attacks that continue to occur in the region Brega. The attack led to civilians caught in the middle of battle.

Following Libya's civilian efforts to get out of the country, a Turkish-flagged ships dispatched to the city of Misrata. The ship was later to transport 250 people were injured, after they were trapped by the fighting between loyalist troops Khadafi with the opposition.

"The situation is very difficult, we must go faster," said the Turkish consular official in Libya.
Previously, Turkey's foreign ministry ordered the ship went to the aid Misrata, after 4 days of waiting for clarity of entry to the city.
