DUBAI - A 14-year-old female juvenile was arrested on charges of adultery in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Teens even have to undergo virginity testing, in addition to detention which has been running two weeks.
Police in the area of Ajman, UAE stated, the teenager was arrested after being found alone with her boyfriend on the roof of the house of the girl.
Since found out was going out with her boyfriend, a teenage girl was forced to undergo gynecological examination.
"It can be confirmed that she was a virgin (after the inspection took place)," said the father of the girl is quoted as saying by Gulf News on Wednesday (04/06/2011).
"The police have destroyed the future of my daughter, when he was unable to follow the Purpose of school. He was detained by police since 22 March," protested the girl's father.
The father also told that the police refused bail and his son at this time it was detained with adult prisoners, rather than in a prison for teenagers.
While the girlfriend of the teenager, was also reportedly arrested after a previous escape.
